Moffatt, Sarah (Marriage - 27 AUG 1889)

Married, at the Denton House Tuesday evening, Aug. 27, 1889, Mr. Will Hicks, formerly in the employ of W.W. Forrester, and Miss Sarah Moffatt, of Neillsville, Clark County, this state, were united in marriage by Rev. Chas. Loomis. The company was small but select. The bride was attired in a gray traveling dress and was prepossessing in appearance and William has our heartiest congratulations. The young couple left Wednesday for Interior, Mich., their future home. May peace and prosperity attend them. (Eagle River Vindicator)

The bride is a Neillsville girl, having spent her childhood and young womanhood here, where she was well and favorably known. Her many friends wish her prosperity, and congratulate Mr. Hicks in his choice of life companion.
