Dangers, Lillian (Marriage - 20 JUN 1899)

A very pretty nuptial event was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Dangers, Tuesday evening, June 20, 1899, united in marriage their daughter Lillian and Dr. Benjamin P. Churchill, of Greenwood, Clark County, none but relatives and most intimate friends of the bridal couple being present. The ceremony was performed at nine o'clock by the Rev. F.J. Eppling, pastor of the German Lutheran Church at Algoma, Wis.

The bride was becomingly attired in white china silk and carried a beautiful bouquet of roses. She was attended by Miss Anna Fuller, of Whitewater, a normal school friend. The groom wore the regulation black dress suit and was attended by Mr. George Sontag, of this city.

Mrs. Churchill is one of Neillsville's most estimable and talented young ladies. She graduated from the high school here and later was a student at the state university. She then attended the normal school at Whitewater, and after graduating from that institution taught school at West Bend. The past year she has been engaged as a teacher in the schools of this city.

Dr. Churchill is one of the substantial citizens of Greenwood, enjoys an extensive practice as a physician and has been a resident of Clark County for many years.

The supper was served at eleven o'clock and the newly wedded couple departed on the midnight train for a few days' visit to Milwaukee. They will be at home to their friends in Greenwood after July 28.

Relatives from abroad present at the ceremony were Rev. and Mrs. F.J. Eppling, Algoma, and Mrs. Wm. Constance, St. Paul.
