Joseph & Theresia Hollmann
This is the house in Dorchester where Joseph & Theresia Hollmann (seated on the porch) lived after they moved from their farm. Their daughter, Mary, married John Schwermer (they are seated in front) and they had a daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Elsie" Schwermer (standing in the center in back) who was my grandmother. My Aunt Trudy is holding Mary Hollmann Schwermer's hand, and John Schwermer has my Uncle Norbert on his lap.
Frank & Christine (Fleckenstein) Hollmann are standing in the back (left) and the other four children in the photo are probably theirs. My grandmother's sister (either Ann or Sally) and her brother Eddie are standing on the right.
I believe the house is still standing at 170 2nd Street in Dorchester. I was told that the shed/barn behind it was built by Joseph Hollmann.
