Meysembourg’s celebrate 50th Anniversary

 

 

Mary Ann and Jerry Meysembourg celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 28th, 2008 with over one hundred family and friends in the community center at St. James Church in Menomonee Falls Wisconsin.  Mary Ann and Jerry were married in St. Anthony Church in Loyal Wisconsin on June 28th, 1958. Mary Ann was born to John and Martha Wehe in York Township, Clark County Wisconsin.  Gerald “Jerry” Meysembourg was born to John and Evelyn Meysembourg in Alemena WI.    On Sunday June 29th Mary Ann and Jerry were given a special blessing by Father Art Heinze witnessed by their family and friends at the 8:15 AM Mass at St. James.  Family members from as far away as Florida and Texas attended.

 

Among those attending the party were members of their original wedding party:  Don Meysembourg – Brookfield WI, Marcy Wehe Carr – Peotone IL, Al Wehe – Kingwood TX, Helen Wehe Olson – Franklin WI, Larry Grimmer- Sussex WI and Debbie Grimmer Koenig – New Berlin WI

 

Mary Ann and Jerry’s four sons were in attendance:  Bruce Meysembourg with wife Angel – Carson City NV, Rodney Meysembourg with wife Lori – Noblesville IN, Kevin Meysembourg with wife Beth – Sussex WI. and Glenn Meysembourg – Menasha WI.

 

Mary Ann and Jerry have made their home in Menomonee Falls since 1964.  Jerry retired as a supervisor from Brigg and Stratton in 1986.  Mary Ann is an active volunteer at St. James Catholic Community.  Among their hobbies are spending time with their eleven grandchildren.
