Harvey and Amber Pischer of Neillsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Sportsmen’s Club in Granton. They were married June 26, 1948, at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton where both Harvey and Amber were baptized, confirmed and then later married.
They have four children, Ken (Trudy) Pischer, San Anselmo, CA, Kathleen (Tom) Hyslop, Pewaukee, David Pischer, Edmonds, WA, and Carrie (Dan) Christie, Black River Falls. They have eight grandchildren, Jason Pischer, Jennifer (Hyslop) Barker, Erik Hyslop, Kevin Christie, Lisa Christie, Lori Christie, Anna Pischer and Austin Pischer, and one great-grandson, Hudson Pischer.
Of the original attendants, present were Alene Lautenbach, Leona Tucker, Lavon (Garbisch) Bartsch and Annabelle (Keuer) Garbisch.
The celebration was hosted by their four children.
