LETELSIA COOK/GEORGE FYE MARRIAGE

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cook, who live southeast of town (Greenwood, Clark County), was the occasion of a happy gathering Saturday evening, March 21, 1903, when their daughter, Letelsia, was united in marriage to George Fye by Rev. W. T. Hendren, in the presence of the bride's family and a large number of friends.

About eight thirty the bride and groom took their positions in the southeast corner of the parlor, the bride attended by Genivera Loft, the groom attended by Marner Cook, brother of the bride, where the words were spoken making the twain husband and wife. A season of congratulations and general sociability followed, while a dainty lunch for the bridal party and guests was prepared and served in the dining room.

The happy couple was generously remembered with a large list of valuable, as well as ornamental presents, which will find serviceable places in their new home, which they have already entered and begun housekeeping. The bride came with her parents from Canada to the home farm about nineteen years ago, being then about a year old. She graduated from the Greenwood High School and for the past three or four years has taught in the schools near by. This years she is teaching the home school and will complete the spring term. Mr. Fye is head brakeman on the Wisconsin Central branch, having come here last June. He is a hardworking, industrious young man and bears a good  reputation. The two have gone to housekeeping in the Jas. Edmunds house, which Mr. Cook Purchased, with the farm, some time ago.

That they will find their matrimonial journey on a smooth track is the wish of all their numerous friends.
