DOLLY NICHOL/EDDIE CARPENTER MARRIAGE

Eddie Carpenter and Dolly Nichol, former residents of Greenwood, Clark County, and both well known here, were married at Neillsville, Oct. 2, 1907 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Huntzicker, Rev. W. P. Burrows, Methodist pastor, officiating The Republican and Press says of the wedding:

The bride was becomingly attired in white batiste with point lace yoke collar and carried a bouquet of whit carnations. The groom wore the conventional black. After the ceremony and congratulations a delicious luncheon was served, covers being laid for sixteen. The parlor and dining room were tastefully decorated in white and green, the tables being decorated with sweet peas .

The happy couple stated the same day for Minneapolis, where they will make their future home, the groom having a position there with the T. M. Robert's Supply Co.

Both young people have lived here and have a host of friends among Greenwood people. The bride was a graduate of the Greenwood High School, class of 03 and has taught school in this county since that time, excepting last year at Minocqua, in the northern part of the state, where she has a brother living. She is a sister of Mrs. John Huntzicker of Neillsville.

The groom is a son of Mrs. Eliza Carpenter and has lived in Greenwood up to five years ago, when he went to Minneapolis. He was in the hardware business for some time in the E. S. Donaldson Co., later conducting the business alone.

The Gleaner joins their other friends in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
