ALTIE NELLIS/CLINTON RAYMOND MARRIAGE


Clinton Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Raymond, who has been in Auburn, N.Y. for several years past, was married Saturday, Nov. 18th, 1911 to Miss Altie Nellis.


The Auburn Daily Journal has the following to say of the wedding:
Miss Altie Nellis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Nellis, and Clinton A. Raymond of John St., a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Raymond, of Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., were quietly married this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the hoe of the bride's parents, No. 22 Nelson St., only a few intimate friends and relatives being present.


The bride was attended by Miss Bertha Whipple and Richard Whipple and Richard Nellis, a brother of the bride was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Allen M. Dulles, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church. The Lohengrin wedding march was played as the bridal party entered the parlor where the ceremony was performed, by Miss Marion Adams.


After the ceremony a wedding reception was held and a wedding repast will be served about 5:30 o'clock.
The bride received many beautiful presents consisting of cut glass, silver, furniture and oil paintings.


The bride is well known and popular, while Mr. Raymond, who is an employee of the American Express Co. in this city has made many friends since taking up his residence here. Both Mr. and Mrs. Raymond's friends wish them a long and happy wedded life.


Clinton's friends in this city will be glad to know that he is succeeding admirably in his chosen work and wish him and his bride a lifetime of success and happiness.
