SERVICE SET FOR W. A. DALLMAN


GREENWOOD--Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion United Church of Christ her for William Albert Dallman, 75, a Greenwood, Clark County resident for many years, who died Saturday May 22, 1971 at his home in Brandon, Fla. of an apparent heart attack.


The Rev. David Logue, pastor will officiated and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitations may be made at the Hill Funeral Home here, from today until 11 a.m. Friday and then at the church. Masonic rites will be conducted at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.


Graveside rites will be conducted by the Wallis-Hinker Legion Post of Greenwood.


Mr. Dallman was born March 17, 1896 in Fond du Lac County and received his education in Lomira, Wis. He was married to Lucille Mero, Feb. 13, 1940 in Maywood, Ill.


He had been employed in the electric utility business for over 40 years. From 1924 to 1929 he was employed at Northern States Electric and from 1929 to 1937 he was a superintendent at the Water and Light Department in the city of Colby. In 1937 he became first manager of the Clark Electric Cooperative in Greenwood, where he was employed until his retirement in 1964.


While in Greenwood he also served as city assessor and was a member of the city council. In 1964 Mr. and Mrs. Dallman moved to Buffalo City, Wis., and due to an emergency at the Buffalo City Electric Cooperative in Alma, Wis., he helped out as manager for nine months. In August of 1970 they moved to Brandon, Fla., where they had since made their home.


Survivors include his wife son, Donald Dallman, Baraboo a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Marian) Fricke, Colby four grandchildren two brothers, Edwin, Lomira and Alvin, a resident at the Grand Army Home in King, Wis. and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Dohrman, Horicon and Mrs. Martha Davis, Colby.


He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
