FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. W. L. (JANET) LEE AT LOYAL


Funeral services for Mrs. W. L. (Janet) Lee were held Tuesday afternoon, March 2, at the Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal. The Rev. David Wenger, Greenwood, officiated, with burial taking place in the Loyal Cemetery.


Pallbearers for Mrs. Lee were: Dick Thompson, Bob Harvey, Clarence Gorsegner, Hugh Darton, Wally Szymanski and Kenneth Schmidt.


Mrs. Lee was found by her husband about 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Feb. 29, 1976 in the garage at their home. According to Robert Lulloff, Clark County Coroner, her death was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning. Her body was found between two automobiles, one of which was running.


The former Janet Sterr was born March 3, 1924, at Lomaria. She attended Loyal grade school and high school, and also had attended the University of Wisconsin.


She was married to Dr. W. L. Lee on Feb. 25, 1942, at Loyal. She assisted Dr. Lee in his veterinary practice.


Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Sally Jo Lee, Marshfield one son, Willard L. Lee Jr., Wausau her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sterr, Marshfield, two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Will, Beaver Dam.


She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a brother.
