Mrs. Grace Buttery Grantham, 79, Emerado, died Saturday morning in a Grand Forks Hospital.


Mrs. Grantham was born at Neillsville, Wis., Dec. 23, 1879. She moved to Emerado with her parents in 1892 and was married to S. S. Grantham on Nov. 17, 1903. He preceded her in death, May, 1945.


Two sons, Lloyd and James also preceded her in death, in 1919 and 1957, respectively.


Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Ed (Lois) Boggs, St. Paul, Minn, Mrs. Sever (Neva) Gilbertson, Emerado Mrs. Charley (Muriel) Fladland, Grand Forks Mrs. George (Helen) Aarhus, Emerado Mrs. Reuben (Beatrice) Kjensrud, Northwood and Mrs. John (Coral) Peterson, Marshall, Minn. two sons, Ross C. Grantham, Erskine, Minn. and Delbert A. Grantham, Grand Forks.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church at Emerado, with the Rev. Kenneth Coggon of Larimore officiating. The body will lie in state Monday afternoon and evening at Byers Funeral Chapel and at the church for one hour before services. Burial will be in the Emerado Cemetery.
