FUNERAL RITES FOR LULU KRONBERGER


Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Aug. 21, at York Center United Methodist Church, at 2 p.m., for Mrs. Leo (Lulu) Kronberger, 72, of Route 1, Neillsville, who died at Neillsville Hospital at 8 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 19, 1976.


Rev. Eugene Carlson officiated with burial in the York Center Cemetery. Miss Debra Bennett was the organist.


Lulu Benedict was born on Mar. 27, 1904, to William and Susanna Benedict, in the Town of York. She received her education at the Merry Vale School. On Feb. 14, 1923, she married Leo Kronberger. After marriage they farmed in the Loyal area until 1958, when they retired and continued living on the farm.


She is survived by her husband, Leo three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Prior, Loyal Mrs. George (Betty) Pabich, Austin, Texas, and Mrs. Norbert (Jean) Leavey, Nekoosa three sons, Ivan, Marshfield, Wayne, Neillsville, and Jerry, Wisconsin Rapids two brother Morvin Benedict, Loyal and Nyle Benedict, Loyal and one sister, Mrs. Frank (Neva) Lulloff, Loyal.


James Scheckelman, Tony Walter Sr., Glen Lavey, Jim Pongratz, Ray Aga, and Edward Scheckelman served as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
