SERVICES HELD FOR JOHN MORAUSKI, GREENWOOD


Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 7, at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, for John Morauski, Sr., age 65, of Route 1, Willard, Clark County, who died at 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 1976 at his home. Death was due to natural causes. The Rev. David Logue officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The organist was Mrs. Gary Schultz and the singer was Gary Schultz. They played and sang Old Rugged Cross and In the Garden .


Mr. Morauski, Sr., was born on Jan. 9, 1911 at Fallanbee, West Virginia. He married the former Florence Stark at Madison on June 14, 1941. She survives.


Mr. Morauski, Sr. moved to Phillips, Wis. when he was six years old. He received his education in Phillips. He farmed in Clark County for the last seven years and moved to the Greenwood area about a year ago.


Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Shirley) Smith, Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Chris (Beverly) Klinzing, Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Delmer (Elsa) Patton, Calhoun, Geo. one son, John, Jr. Stoughton, Wis. three brothers, Paul, Fall River, Wis. Steve, Detroit, Mich. George, Calif. four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Mary) Olson, Rio, Wis. Mrs. Alex (Helen) Sopha, Phillips Mrs. Julia Ondjacka, Columbus, Wis. Mrs. Edward (Susan) Jensen, Phoenix, Ariz. And five grandchildren.


Pallbearers were Bernard Poppe, Kenneth Markot, David Gjeria, Ronald Andrews, DuWayne Michaelson, and Jake Barr.
