FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR EWALD ELPERT, UNITY


Funeral services will be held for Ewald Elpert, 61, Unity, Clark County, Wis., on Thursday, Sept. 30, 1976 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby. Mr. Elpert died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on Monday, Sept. 27, 1976 at 8:00 a.m.


Rev. Francis Rushman will officiate and burial will be in the Colby Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 29.


Mr. Elpert was born in Medford, Wis. on July 25, 1915. He received his education at the Medford schools. He married the former Carmen Schmidtke on July 25, 1947 at Neillsville. He worked at the feed mills at Colby and Abbotsford.


He is survived by his wife, Carmen, two daughters, Sandra and Susan at home eight sons, Thomas, Dennis, James, Robert, William, and Richard, all at home, and Kenneth and Darrell of Colby three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Walter, Loyal. and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Goodwin and Mrs. Erma Anderson, Loyal. One daughter and one brother preceded him in death.
