MRS. FRANK PLECITY DIES SUDDENLY

Mrs. Frank Plecity died suddenly Thursday, September 11, 1939 in her home at Gilman, from a heart attack.
Pearl Leilah Shanks was born in Greenwood, Wisconsin, March 15, 1855. She was the eldest daughter of Alex and Mary Shanks, who preceded her in death many years ago.

She attended the local schools and in April 1908 was united in marriage to Frank Plecity of Gilman. In October they went to Gilman to reside. Mr. Plecity was employed by the Gilman Manufacturing Company and they have resided there until the time of her death.
Beside her husband there are left to mourn her death, two sons, Leo of Hartford, Connecticut Donald, who attends the University of Wisconsin and one daughter, Mrs. John Kovak of Whiting, Indiana, one brother D.J. Shanks of Los Angeles, Calif., three grandchildren and many other relatives and a host of friends.

A kind and loving mother, a devoted wife and friend has gone from our midst.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. George Fisher in the Presbyterian Church at Gilman at 1:00 o'clock Monday afternoon, September 11, 1939. Hymns were sung by Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Heagle. The body was then brought to Greenwood where it was laid to rest near her loved ones. Rev. Fisher accompanied the funeral cortege to Greenwood and conducted the last rites at the grave.
The floral offerings were numerous and very beautiful showing the esteem in which she was held.

The pallbearers were P. L. Kingman, Arthur Johnson, John P. Miller, Carl Yaeger, Anson Heagle and Roy Heagle.
Those in charge of the flowers were Mmes. P. L. Kingman, Anson Heagle, Hugh Smith, Dan McGillis, and Walter Thiele.
