MRS. E. K. SHEETS PASSES AWAY


Word has been received here of the death of Mr. E. K. Sheets a former resident of this city (Greenwood, Clark County).


Mary Keifer was born in Putnam County, Ohio, in 1854 and was married to Elias Kramer Sheets. They lived in Ohio until 1899 when they moved to Greenwood, Wis.


Ten years ago Mr. and Mrs. Sheets left Greenwood, Mr. Sheets went to Lemon, S.D., to live with their daughter, Daisy, Mrs. F. Umback, while Mrs. Sheets went to Azusa, Cal. To live with her daughter, Gail, Mrs. P. Tscharner. She lived with Mrs. Tscharner until this last year when she went to live with her son Elmer at Fullerton, Cal.


She passed away at the home of her son Elmer on Nov. 25, 1935. Funeral services were held on Friday Nov. 19, 1935, and her body was laid to rest in the Loma Vista Cemetery.


Her husband preceded her in death last February and was buried in Greenwood. Mrs. Sheets was 82 years of age.


She is survived by four children, Mrs. F. Umback, Lemon, S.D. Mrs. P. Tscharner, Azusa, Cal Charlie, Minneapolis, Minn. and Elmer, Fullerton, Cal.
