ALICE DUCKETT


Alice Duckett, 61, of Route 1, Owen, Clark County, passed away at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 1977, after being stricken with an apparent heart attack while at work at the Clark County Health Care Center.


Visitation was held at the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, form 4 to 9 on Thursday, followed by the cremation of the body on Friday. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.


Alice Pratt was born at Log Cabin, Colo. On Nov. 17, 1915, to Walter and Effie May Harris Pratt.


She was married to Edwin Duckett in Nov. of 1968.


She worked at the Department of Mental Hygiene at Sonoma State Hospital in California for 20 years. She then moved to the Greenwood area in 1969 and began work at the Clark County Health Care Center, where she has worked for the past three years as a nursing assistant.


She is survived by her husband, Edwin two sons, Stanley Dale, Sr., Route 1, Owen, and Frank Dale, Jr., Ohio three sisters, Mrs. Effie May Pyeatt of Greenwood, Mrs. Ivy Heath of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Mrs. Evaline Lamle of Ft. Collins, Colo. five step-sons, Gerald Duckett of Rhode Island, Charles Duckett of South Dakota, George Duckett of Colorado, Benjamin Duckett of Ohio and Junior Duckett of Maryland one step-daughter, Carol Ann Duckett of California seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by one daughter.
