LOUIS ZORMAN


Funeral services were conducted at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, for Louis Zorman, 85, of 213 Division St., Greenwood, Clark County, who passed away at 9 a.m., Monday, June 20, 1977, at his home of an apparent heart attack.


Rev. Robert Houston, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, officiated and interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.


Louis Zorman was born in Yugoslavia on June 18, 1892, and received his education in Yugoslavia.


He came to the United States in 1913 and settle at Minnesota, where he worked in the steel mines. In 1923 he moved to Willard and farmed in the Town of Hendren.


He was married to Jennie Bergant on Jan. 15, 1925, at Neillsville. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1975.


In 1958 he retired from farming and moved to Greenwood.


He was a 50 year member of Slovene National Benefit Society, Lodge 189.


He is survived by his wife, Jennie three sons, Edward of Route 1, Greenwood, Albert of Route 1, Willard, and Rudolph of Route 3, Marshfield two sisters, Mrs. Maria Erzar and Mrs. Frances Zavarel, both of Yugoslavia nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Serving as pallbearers were Joseph Verschay, John Verschay, Sam Grap, Rudy Sladich, Albert Musich and Mike Podobnik.


He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
