CARL F. DAMEROW, 85 DIES AT LONGWOOD


GREENWOOD Carl Frederick Damerow, 85, died of old age complications at 3:00 a.m. today (Jan. 13, 1937) at the home of a son, Herman, Longwood, Clark County. The farm home was Mr. Damerow's old homestead.


Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the residence and at 2:00 p.m. at the Braun Settlement Reformed Church. The Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer will officiate and burial will take place at Braun Settlement.


Mr. Damerow was born in Germany, and came to the Greenwood community 35 years ago. Mrs. Damerow preceded him in death 15 years ago, and a daughter, Agnes died on Jan. 9.


Four sons and two daughters survive.
