OBITUARY OF JOSEPH ULE, SR.


Joseph Ule Sr., was born in Yugoslavia, March 3, 1883 and came to America in 1905, settling in Lorain, Ohio. On July 29, 1907 he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Lovko. In 1912 they moved to a farm near Willard, Clark County, where they have resided ever since. Mr. Ule was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard and the K.S.K.J. Society.


Mr. Ule passed away at his home near Willard Saturday evening, Sept 23, 1939. His is survived by his wife, four daughters, Miss Mathilda Ule, R.N. of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs E. (Mary) Finstad, and Mrs. Joseph (Olga) Hribar, Chicago, Ill., and Alice at home, and by two sons, Joseph Ule Jr., of Defiance, Ohio and Edward Ule at home, also by one grandchild.


A Requiem High Mass was read on Wednesday morning, Sept 27, 1939 at 9:00 o'clock in Holy Family Church, Rev. Father Marsalle Marinsek officiated and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery at Willard.


Those from away who attended the funeral were Miss Mathilda Ule of Los Angeles, Calif., Joseph Ule Jr. of Defiance, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. E. Finstad and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hribar of Chicago Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ule Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ule Jr. of Pittsville and Mrs. Ted Dupec, Wisconsin Rapids.
