ALLARD FUNERAL IS HELD IN GREENWOOD
REV. A. J. ABBOTT OFFICIATES AT SERVICES MONDAY AFTERNOON


Greenwood
--Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Schiller Funeral Home for Adon J. Allard, 69, who died at midnight Friday, Nov. 29, 1940, at his home (Greenwood, Clark County).


The Rev. A. J. Abbott, pastor of Grace Methodist church, had charge of the services, during which he read a letter from the Rev. Charles Reed, St. Paul pastor of the Woodbury Methodist Church, who was unable to attend the rites. The Rev. Mr. Reed is a close friend of the family. Mrs. George Haeuser and Mrs. Charles Perkins sang Rock of Ages , accompanied by Mrs. John Meng, organist.


Pallbearers were Albert Schwarze, William Steiger, John Drummond, Richard Shields, Roy Thorson and O. W. Trindal of Loyal.


Those from out of town who attended the funeral were John Allard, Cazenovia, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Kennedy, Abbotsford Mr. and Mrs. Harold Booth, Glenwood City and Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Trindal, Loyal.
