CLARENCE LANGFELDT


Clarence A. Langfeldt, 75, Wausau, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1992, at his home. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 1992, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John W. Meachen officiated. Burial was in the town of Berlin Cemetery.


Clarence A. Langfeldt was born Dec. 4, 1916, in Davenport, Iowa, to John Henry and Marie (nee Gelharr) Langfeldt. He attended school in the Loyal area. He married Inez Sonderegger Aug. 29, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minn. She preceded him in death May 30, 1979. He was the head oiler at Wausau Paper Mill, Brokaw, before he retired.


Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Charles) Ziereis, Gillett one adopted daughter, Beatrice (Bradley) Kurth, Wausau two sons, Gary (Lori) Langfeldt, Eugene, Oregon and Keith (Susan) Langfeldt, Deer Park two sisters, Elsie Cain, Loyal and Janie (Kenneth) Vollrath, Greenwood one brother, Edwin (Jennie) Langfeldt, Neillsville and three step-sisters, Mavis Augustine, Unity Carmen Huth, Marshfield and Dorothy Shanks, Duluth, Minn.


He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers, Max and Erwin two sisters, Leona and Dorothy one step-sister, Violet one step-brother, Lester and his step-mother, Louisa.
