ANDREW OLSON


Greenwood--Andrew Olson, 76, a resident of Greenwood, Clark County for more than 70 years, died at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, Aug. 22, 1943 at his home, a mile east of Greenwood, following a long illness. He had suffered a heart attack last winter and had been in poor health since that time.


Mr. Olson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ole Olson, was born in Trondhjem, Norway, May 15, 1867 and came to the United States with his parents when he was a year old. The family lived in Black River Falls for five years, and when Andrew Olson was six, they moved to the present Olson farm.


Funeral services for Mr. Olson, a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and United Lutheran Church will be held at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Olson home and at 2 o'clock at the United Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. (The rest of my copy was cut off)
