LOUISE O. ELLINGSON


Funeral services for Louise O. Ellingson, 87, Greenwood, were held on Monday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, Clark County.


The Rev. Richard Sorenson officiated. Burial was in the Armour Valley Cemetery, Mondovi. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Steve, David, Daniel, Thomas, Todd and Bill Ellingson.
She died on Friday, Aug. 28, 1987 at 4:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospice Unit, Marshfield.


Louise Andgjer was born on Feb. 15, 1900 to Olaf and Dina (nee Rosholm) Andgjer in Strum. She received her education at Strum Schools.


She married Engwald Ellingson on Oct. 23, 1921 in Strum.


She worked for 18 years at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.


Surviving are five sons, Erling, Elmhurst, Ill. Everett, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Donald, La Crosse James, Milwaukee and Romaine, Madison one sisters, Mrs. Doris Van Tassel, Watertown three brothers, Oscar Andgjer, Eau Claire Romaine Andgjer, Eau Claire and Everett Andgjer, Mesa, Arizona 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.


Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one daughter, Doris Ann, two sisters and three brothers.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
