Jordan, Theressa (1879 - 1964)


GREENWOOD--Mrs. Louis Jordan, 84, Greenwood, Clark County, died of complications Sunday afternoon at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville. She had been admitted there on Saturday.


Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home, and at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home from Monday evening until time of services. A general rosary service will be conducted there at 9 p.m. Tuesday.


The former Theressa Ratiz was born Sept. 30, 1879, in Yugoslavia. Her marriage to Louis Jordan took place in Kansas. In 1918 the couple came to Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Martin (Josephine) Ryona, Withee and Mrs. Frank (Rose) Arch, Greenwood six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
