DORIS BOMBARD


Funeral services for Mrs. Doris A. Bombard, 49, of Route 1, Loyal, Clark County, who passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on Monday, April 17, 1978, will be conducted at Spencer United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 20, at 1:30 p.m.
Rev. Keith Schroerlucke will officiate at the services and interment will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.


The body will lie in state at Rux Funeral Home after 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 19.


Doris A. Goodell was born to Everett and Cecil Goodell in Almakee County, Iowa on Sept. 3, 1928.


She was married to Dale Bombard on Oct. 11, 1947 in the Town of Sherman, Clark County. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Parkin Dairy.


She was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church and held office for the Disabled Citizen Action Alliance in Marshfield.


Surviving her are her husband, Dale her mother, Cicel Goodell one daughter, Mrs. Norbert (Barbara) Schultz, Route 1, Spencer one son, Michael, Waukesha two sisters, Mrs. Sam (Phyllis) Albano of Temple City, Cal. And Mrs. Marvin (Edith) Vandeberg of Freeport, Ill. two grandchildren and she raised five foster children.


She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Goodell and one child.


Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
