Wolf, Joseph (1880 - 1961)


GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Joseph Wolf, 80, who died Monday afternoon, Sept. 11, 1961 at the Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. The Rev. Edward Hartung will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.


The body is reposing at the Hill Funeral Home, where a general rosary service will be conducted at 8 o'clock this evening.


Mr. Wolf was born near Marshfield Nov. 29, 1880. He came to Greenwood in 1917 and was married to the former Eva Enders June 4, 1918, in St. Mary's Catholic Church here. After their marriage the couple moved to a farm near Greenwood and lived there since. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and its Holy Name Society.


Survivors are his wife two daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Bursaw, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Radue, Loyal two sons, Paul, Minneapolis, and Lawrence, at home tow sisters, Mrs. Chet Lindsay and Mrs. Madeline Seymour, both of Marshfield a brother, Andrew Wolf, Chili and 11 grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by twin daughters, who died in infancy, two brothers and three sisters.
