Briski, Lawrence (1951 - 1978)


Lawrence (Larry) Briski, age 26, 2531 East Hamilton Ave., Eau Claire, died June 22, 1978 at his home after a long illness.


He was born in Thorp, Clark County, Wis. on Oct. 2, 1951. He was a graduate of Thorp High School, class of 1969. He attended the Eau Claire Vocational-Technical School and was an honor graduate, Majoring in Industrial Electronics. He was employed at Streeter-Amet Corp., Grays Lake, Ill.


He married Barb Albrecht on June 2, 1972, in Eau Claire.


Survivors include his wife, one son, Philip, at home his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank N. Briski, Thorp; one brother, James, Thorp; one sister, Susan, Wis. Dells; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Martha Haryck, Thorp.


Services were held on June 24, 1978 at Lake Street Methodist Church, Eau Claire, with burial in Union Cemetery, Town of Clear Creek.
