Jolivette, Harris (1901 - 1990)


Harris Jolivette, Neillsville, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 14, 1990, at 1 p.m. at Country View Apartments Community Room, Neillsville. The body will be cremated and interment will be in Greenwood City Cemetery. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.


Harris Jolivette was born April 6, 1901, in La Crosse, to Isador and Maria (nee Peterson) Jolivette. He received his education in the La Crosse and Greenwood Schools. He farmed all his life on the family farm in Greenwood. He married Beulah Robertson June 30, 1935, in Greenwood.


Survivors include his wife three daughters, Mrs. John (Geraldine) Brown, La Crosse Mrs. Herman (Mae) Hilgers, Racine and Mrs. Mary Lou Vitto, La Crosse two sisters, Mrs. Esther Dusso and Mrs. Stella Frank, both of Neillsville nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.


Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
