Fleischmann, Wilhelm Jr. (1927 - 1990)


Wilhelm, E.C. Fleischmann Jr., 63, Neillsville, died at his residence Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1990. A memorial service was held Friday, Sept. 21, 1990, at 10 a.m. at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiated and cremation rites were accorded.


Wilhelm E. C. Fleischmann Jr. was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Palmyra, to Wilhelm E. C. and Carrie A. (nee Gill) Fleischmann. He received his education in Palmyra. He married Delores Barth Oct. 12, 1946, in Mukwonago. She survives. He was a truck driver until he moved to Neillsville in 1961, where he began farming until his retirement in 1979.


Survivors include his wife, Dolores two sons, Dennis Fleischmann, Granton and Donald Fleischmann, Marshfield one daughter, Darlene Benedict, Marshfield two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Gladys) Swan, Mukwonago and Mrs. Charles (Lois) Galetka, Neillsville four brothers, Robert Fleischmann, Reno, Nev. Clifford Fleischmann, Mukwonago Edwin Fleischmann, Neillsville and Gary Fleischmann, Waukesha and seven grandchildren.


He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.


Gesche Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
