Beaver, Rosetta (1908 - 1990)


Rosetta Beaver, 82, formerly of Loyal, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 8, 1990, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Roman Kaiser officiated and burial was in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.


Rosetta Ryan was born April 3, 1908, in the town of Westford, Dodge County, to John and Lucy (nee McGrath) Ryan. She received her education at St. Anthony's Grade and High School. She married Bernard Beaver Dec. 29, 1927, at St. Anthony's Church, Loyal. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1990.


She lived in Marshfield until moving to Loyal in 1975. She worked for the Loyal Canning Factory. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and the Loyal American Legion Auxiliary.


Survivors include three sons, Richard Beaver, Loyal Bernard Beaver, Milwaukee and Ronald Beaver, Oak Creek one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Sylvia) Pickett, Spencer, three sisters, Mrs. Grace Klimmer, Stevens Point Gladys Ryan, Loyal and Mrs. Isabelle Kennow, Marshfield 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and three sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
