Voss, Selma M. (1909 - 2001)


Selma M. Voss, 92, Marshfield, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at the Marshfield Center. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at Community Funeral Home, Spencer. The Rev. Karl Rose officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery, Loyal. Pallbearers were Jeff, James, Steve, Mike, Jerry, and Craig Voss.


Selma M. Voss was born March 28, 1909, to Harry and Marie (nee Schwan) Voss. She attended Mack School, Loyal, Loyal High School, and Wausau Business School. She worked in Milwaukee until her retirement, when she moved to Spencer. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.


Survivors include two nephews, Kenneth Voss, Neillsville, and Wayne (JoAnn) Voss, Granton six great-nephews two great-nieces and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Herbert Voss.


Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
