Fenhouse, Bessie (1895 - 1980)


Funeral services will be conducted at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer on Thursday, April 24 at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Bessie, Fenhouse, 84, formerly of Spencer, who had been residing at Marshfield Convalescent Center.


Mrs. Fenhouse died at Marshfield Convalescent Center on Tuesday morning. April 22.


Officiating at the services will be Rev. Charles Strong. Burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.


Bessie Brown was born to the late Charles and Anna (nee Ewald) Brown in the Town of Unity, Clark County on May 9, 1895. She married Gary Fenhouse in Spencer on April 18, 1918. They lived in the Spencer area all their lives.


Surviving her is one daughter, Mrs. Minerva Scherer of Spencer.


Preceding her in death were her husband on May 31, 1963 and one brother.


The body will lie in state at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer on Wednesday evening, April 23 from 7-9 p.m.
