Genett, Rober W. (1905 - 1980)


Rober W. Genett, 75, of 111 N. Stafford, Greenwood, Clark County, died at 2:31 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1980, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Services were conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 20, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, with Rev. Joseph Kraly officiating. The body was cremated.


Rober W. Genett was born to the late William and Laura (nee Minett) Genett on Sept. 15, 1905, in Spencer. He received his education at a rural Spencer school.


He married Alma Roum (Syth) on May 9, 1953, in Pine City, Minn. They farmed in the Spencer and Marshfield area and in later years he worked for Rollohome in Marshfield. They moved to Greenwood in 1964.


He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.


Surviving him are his wife, Alma five sons, Robert of Seattle, Wash., Harold and Donald of Milwaukee, James of Marshfield and Gerald of Menomonee Falls six daughters, Mrs. Giles (Dorothy) Austin of Jasper, Alabama, Mrs. Betty Boncher of Plantation, Fla., Mrs. James (Virginia) Delaney of Darien, Wis., Mrs. Jim (Nancy) Ramker of Spencer, Mrs. Patricia Ryan of Milwaukee and Mrs. David (Bonnie) Babcock of Mosinee four step-children, Dales Syth of Eau Claire, Earl Syth of Spencer, Okla., Richard Syth of Greenwood and Kenneth Syth of Greenwood two brothers, Albert of Spencer and Orville of Rothschild two sisters, Mrs. Irma Kettelhut of Lincoln, Neb. And Mrs. Joe (Iva) Lang of Marshfield 28 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
