Elstrom, Ole (1887 - 1981)


Ole Elstrom, 93, of Abbotsford, died at Continental manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford, early Tuesday morning, May 26, 1981.


Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 29, at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford. Rev. Kenneth Loehrke will officiate and interment will be in the Abbotsford Cemetery.


Friends may call at Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, after 3 p.m., Thursday, May 28.


Ole Elstrom was born on Nov. 19, 1887, in the Town of Green Grove, and received his education in Green Grove School.


He was married to Anna Molle at St. Paul, Minn., on Aug. 12, 1913. He died carpenter work and farmed during his lifetime.


He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.


Survivors include his wife, Anna four sons, Glen of Elwood, Ill., Donald of Highwood, Ill., Charles of Lake Forest, Ill. and Duane of Minneapolis seven daughters, Mrs. Arvo (Evelyn) Koski of Loyal, Mrs. Chester (Mildred) Stephens of Spencer, Mrs. John (Inez) Rossi of Westboro, Mrs. Red (Arlene) Foker of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Jesse (Lorraine) Contrares of Chicago, Mrs. John (Jeanette) Frisoli of Chicago and Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Kollmansberger of Loyal 42 grandchildren 39 great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren one brother, Carl of Colby and two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Larson of Madison and Mrs. Clara Marcussen of Waukegan, Ill.


Preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter, two sisters and one brother.


Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, is handling arrangements.
