Stone, Dianna L. (1956 - 2002)


Dianna L. Stone, 45, Greenwood, Clark County, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, after a 3-year battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood. Private services will be held at a later date.


Dianna Lynne Dillow was born on Nov. 13, 1956, in Waukegan, Ill., to Conrad J. and Jacquelin M. (nee Whitlock) Dillow. She attended school and met her future husband, William Stone, in Waukegan. They moved to Greenwood, where they were later married. She worked at several jobs in the area, including the last 10 years at the Clark County Health Care Center. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.


Survivors include her husband, Bill, Greenwood one daughter, Lisa (Shawn) Hinker, Greenwood one son, Chris (Chris Chapman) Murphy, Kenosha two grandchildren, Brett and Hannah Hinker her father, Conrad Dillow, Anna, Ill. three sisters, Bonnie (Chuck Kisonis) Dillow, Kenosha, Virginia Hallas, Oshkosh, and Linda (Mark) Tanner, Park City, Ill. one brother, Steven (Bonnie) Dillow, Makanda, Ill. and 13 nieces and nephews.


Preceding her in death were her mother, Jacquelin and one brother, Raymond Dillow.


Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, is assisting the family with arrangements.
