Foelsch, Margaret E. (1907 - 2002)


Margaret E. Foelsch, 93, Spencer, died on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at Community Funeral Home, Spencer. The Rev. Karl Rose officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.


Margaret Wolfe was born on Oct. 11, 1907, in Loyal, to Ederick and Emma (nee Otto) Wolfe. She was a co-owner and cheesemaker at Pine Grove Cheese Factory. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, and its ladies aide and quilting group.


Survivors include one son, George Foelsch, Baton Rouge, La. one daughter, Marjorie (Keith) Cook, Wausau three grandchildren, Heidi (Michael) LaBlanc, Douglas (Caroline) Cook, and Brady Cook four great-grandchildren, Ashley and Allen LaBlanc and Benjamin and Vivian Cook and one sister, Agnes Paddon, Wabeno.


Preceding her in death were her parents four brothers and one sister.


Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.


Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
