Pigott, Harland (1933 - 1981)


Funeral services for Harland Pigott, 48, of 506 South Main, Loyal, Clark County, will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the United Methodist Church, Loyal.

Mr. Pigott died on Sunday morning, Nov. 22, 1981, at 7:35, at his home.

Officiating at the service will be Rev. Jay Bennett of the Free Methodist Church, Loyal. Interment will be in the Loyal Cemetery.


The body will lie in state at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, after 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Harland Pigott was born on March 11, 1933, in the Town of Loyal to Harley and Bernice (nee Downer) Pigott. He received his education at Granton Schools.

He was married on June 1, 1957, at Loyal to Gwen Fensome.

He farmed all his life in the Town of Fremont until his illness, moving to Loyal in January of this year. He drove school bus for ten years.

He was a member of the Free Methodist Church and served on the church board.

Survivors are his wife, Gwen two daughters, Mrs. Harley (Therese) Henkel of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and Mrs. Rick (Doris) Delo of Loyal one twin brother, Harold of Vancouver, Wash. nine sisters, Mrs. Art (Lillian) Kriedeman of Redding, Cal., Mrs. Arnold (Gladys) Karl of Neillsville, Mrs. Ada Schave of Fond du Lac, Mrs. William (Doris) Johnson of Bloomer, Mrs. Levi (Donna) Galligan of Eden, Mrs. Elton (Zelda) Janke of Hixton, Mrs. Jim (Edith) Fox of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Jim (Rosie) Hamburg of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Glen (Bonnie) Love of Frederick, Mich. and three grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, James and one sister, Emma.

Allan Ludwig, Bill Johnson, Walter Karl, Curt Mrotek, Howard Jennings, Bernard Clouse, Tom Bobrofsky and Ted Boe will serve as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
