EDWARD BOWE
 

Edward J. Bowe, 87, Greenwood, Clark County, died Monday, July 31, 1995, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995, at St. Mary's Church, Greenwood. There will be a picnic lunch at the Greenwood County Park following the service. Graveside service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in the Town of Seymour at 3:30 p.m.


Edward J. Bowe was born on March 21, 1908, in Chippewa County, to Albert and Eleanor (nee Loew) Bowe. He married Mary Anderson on June 17, 1938, in Eau Claire. They lived in the Eau Claire area before moving to Greenwood. She preceded him in death on May 13, 1993.


Survivors include two daughters, Becola (Wayne) Doebele, Walton, Kansas and Margaret (Edward) Hill, Conyers, Ga. two sons, Clayton (Arlene) Bowe, Withee and Maynard (Jeanette) Bowe, Greenwood 13 grandchildren one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson four brothers, Arnold (Mary) Bowe, Eau Claire Ralph (Marian) Bowe, Chippewa Falls Herb Bowe, Cadott and Duane (Joan) Bowe, Chippewa Falls and one sister, Leona Peterson, Eau Claire.


He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers and three sisters.


The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is assisting the family.
