Diedrich, Ronald (1969 - 2002)


ABBOTSFORD - Ronald Diedrich, 32, of Abbotsford, was born to eternal life early Friday morning Feb. 15, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.


A celebration of Ron's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Pastor Tom Mulderink of the Abbotsford Bible Church will officiate. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.


Ron's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at the Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.


Ronald Lee Diedrich was born March 31, 1969, in Marshfield to Mary (Miller) and the late James Diedrich. He attended school in Abbotsford and graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1988. Ron was working in the wood room of ODC in Marshfield until the time of his death. Ron was an avid Packer fan, loved to watch race cars and liked to bowl. Ron was a person who had a ready smile for everyone. His bubbly personality and laugh will be missed by friends, family and co-workers. He was an active member of the Abbotsford Bible Church.


He will be sadly missed by his parents, Alan and Mary Griepentrog of Abbotsford one sister, Lisa (Gabe) Palmer of Spencer three brothers, Jeff Diedrich and Kristy Koch of Abbotsford, Dan Diedrich of Dorchester and Ryan (DeAnn) Griepentrog of Spencer. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Viola Miller of Abbotsford and paternal grandfathers, Norbert Diedrich of Colby and Eugene Griepentrog of Spencer.


He was preceded in death by and reunited with his father, James Diedrich, who died in 1985 a brother, Corey Griepentrog, who died in 1994 and his grandparents, Bernice Griepentrog, Nettie "Bunny" Diedrich and Leo Miller.


Memorials may be made to Abbotsford Bible Church in his name.
