Merlock, Frank (8 OCT 1872 - 23 OCT 1961)


Frank Merlock, 87, of Greenwood, a former Waukegan, Ill., resident, died here yesterday.

Mr. Merlock came to the United States from Yugoslavia as a young man. He left Waukegan for Greenwood about 50 years ago. He was a farmer before his retirement.

Surviving are his widow, Jennie four sons, John of Waukegan, Roy of Milwaukee, Martin of Greenwood and Matt of Floyd and six daughters, Frances of Montana, Mathilda and Agnes, both of South Chicago, Ill., Mary of Gary, Ind., Jennie of Los Angeles, Calif, and Anna of Waukegan.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday from the Greenwood Funeral Home to the Catholic Church for Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
