Margaret C. Fiegel, 89, Omro, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 1996, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home, Oshkosh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 1996, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Rev. Roman Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Loyal. Visitation will be on Thursday at the church from 10:30 a.m. to the time of service.


Margaret C. Davel was born on Oct. 16, 1906, in Loyal, Clark County, to Joseph and Anna (nee Dietsche) Davel. She married Otto Fiegel on Aug. 27, 1927, in Greenwood. She made her home in Omro until 1953. She then moved to Milwaukee, where she was employed by Hillsview Nursing Home until 1970. She returned to Oshkosh, where she lived until entering the nursing home in 1990. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Oshkosh.


Survivors include one son, Robert (Shirley) Fiegel, Oshkosh two daughters, Caroline (Oscar) Trittin, Omro and Betty (Donald) Schuster, Omro two sisters-in-law, Clara Davel, Greenwood and Katherine Davel, Loyal one brother-in-law, Sherwood Plath, Neenah seven grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents one sister, Helena Plath four brothers, Andrew, Alex, Bernard and William and one grandson, Douglas Trittin.


Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, assisted the family with arrangements.
