MRS. ALVINA RINEHART OF SPENCER SUCCUMBS


Mrs. Alvina Rinehart, 87, formerly of Spencer, now of Colonial House of Colby, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 5:05 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1975. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, on Saturday, Oct. 19, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. William H. Ruhbusch officiating. Burial was made in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Rux Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Alvina (Riedel) Rinehart was born March 18, 1888 in Clark County. She married William Rinehart on Nov. 10, 1908 in the Town of Grant, Clark County. They farmed in the Athens area, then moved to the Unity area, where they farmed until she moved to Spencer. Her husband preceded her in death.


She was a member of the trinity Lutheran Church, Ladies Guild, and Senior Citizens.


She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Wolff, Franklin Mrs. Ruth Hamann, Athens Mrs. Ray (Blanche) Toltzman, Spencer Mrs. Woodrow (Evelyn) Romens, Unity Mrs. George (Bernice) Deegan, Brookfield Clifford Rinehart, Colby Henry Rinehart, Loyal 31 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. One son, four sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death.


Organ music was provided for by Mrs. Arnold Stelzl and Elmer Hamann, Duane Romens, Gerald Rinehart, Marvin Wolff, Terrance Toltzman and Michael Rinehart were pallbearers.
