Benda, Rudolph F. (3 APR 1910 - 17 AUG 1985)


Rudolph F. Benda, 75, Rt. 1, Willard, town of Hendren, Clark County, died at 2:12 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Aug. 17 at the home of his daughter where he had been residing.

Funeral services were held in Cicero, Ill., with burial in St. Adalbert's Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home handled local arrangements.

He was born April 3, 1910 in Chicago. He married Marie Bruha on Aug. 10, 1941 in Cicero, Ill. He received his education in Junior College in Chicago and attended barber school.

He owned and operated Benda's Hair Studio until retiring in 1976. A week ago he moved to the Willard area to live with his daughter. He was a member of Our Lady of the Mount, Cicero, Ill. and Knights of Columbus and Holy Name.

He is survived by one son, Rudolph J. Benda, New York one daughter, Mrs. Rosemarie Willimann, Willard and two sisters, Mrs. Elsi Thrlik, Berwyn, Ill. and Mrs. Mae Hbrak, West Hartford, Conn.
