Henry Anthony Trampush, 71, Loyal, Clark County, died Thursday, June 20, 1996, in the emergency room of St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 1966, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery.


Military rites were performed by the Greenwood American Legion. Pallbearers were Ray Mancl, Mark Jensen, Scott Karbon, Mark Terstra, Wayne Seefluth and Christopher Jensen.


Henry Anthony Trampush was born Sept. 10, 1924, in Owen, to Frank and Mary (nee Yezeric) Trampush. He received his education at Greenwood area schools. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII. He married Mae Alberta Bauer on Nov. 29, 1947, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. She survives. They farmed in Greenwood for a short time. He then bought a farm in Loyal and farmed ther unti the time of his death. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Greenwood American Legion Wallis-Hinker Post 238.


Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Kathy (Ray) Mincl, Green Bay Karen (Mark) Jensen, DeForest and Cindy Gunther, La Crosse two sons, Bruce (Diane) Trampush, Marshfield Warren (Carolyn) Trampush, Greenwood 10 grandchildren one great-grandchild two brothers, Frank (Evelyn) Trampush, Greenwood and John Trampush, Milwaukee and three sisters, Stephanie Kuenert, Marshfield Regina Trampush, Owen and Josephine Trampush.


He was preceded in death by his parent, one son in infancy, one brother and four sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
