ARVIN LIEBZEIT


Arvin A. Liebzeit, 74, Willard, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1996, at his home. A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 1996, at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.


Arvin A. Liebzeit was born on March 7, 1922, in the Town of Warner, Greenwood, Clark County, to Albert and Clara (nee Braun) Liebzeit. He was a lifelong resident of the Greenwood area. He has resided in the Mead Township since 1990. He was a farmer and insurance salesman for most of his life. He married Anna Haines on June 14, 1947, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood.


Survivors include his wife his children, Coreen (Fazle) Ali, Brookfield LaVonne Liebzeit, Granton Ellen (Alan) Vierthaler, Monroe and Blaine (Lori) Liebzeit, Marathon City his grandchildren, Shauncey, Afton, Cassie, Sacha, Jennifer, Baird, Beth and Konrad two brothers, Clarence (Beatrice) Liebzeit, Greenwood and Norman (Bernelda) Liebzeit, Greenwood one sister-in-law Mercedes Liebzeit and one brother-in-law, Alvin Ziegler.
He was preceded in death by his parents one brother, Harry, and two sisters, Gertrude and Esther.


In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to donor's choice.


Cremation Society of Wisconsin assisted the family.
