Drescher, Robert A. (31 AUG 1934 - 20 APR 2002)

NEILLSVILLE - Robert A. Drescher, 67, of Neillsville, died April 20, 2002, at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Gesche Funeral Home. Interment will be in the town of Grant Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time, both at the funeral home.

He was born Aug. 31, 1934, in the town of Grant to Daniel and Laura (nee Lichte) Drescher. He married Charlotte Covell on June 8, 1957, at the Congregational Church in Neillsville. He farmed and worked at Nelson Muffler Plant, retiring in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Drescher two sons, James Robert Drescher and Paul William (Annette) Drescher, all of Neillsville two daughters, Mary (Jim) Vandeberg of Granton and Karyn Drescher of Altoona one brother, Vernon Drescher and one sister, Elaine (Virgil) Lezotte of Merrill.
