Zorman, Edward Frank (24 Jan. 1926 - 17 Jan. 1994)


Edward Frank Zorman, 67, Greenwood, Clark County, died Friday, Jan. 14, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 1994, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Father Steve Baures officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews, Martin Meyer, Rick Zorman, Daniel Patridge, David Patridge, Jeffrey Bleibaum and Mark Toburen.


Edward Frank Zorman was born on Jan. 24, 1926, in Willard, to Louis and Jennie (nee Bergant) Zorman. He graduated form Greenwood High School. While in school, he worked for the North Hendren Dairy Co-op as an assistant cheese maker. After school, he served in the Army from Nov. 1944 to Dec. 1946. He then worked in a cheese factory in Owen. He married Theresa Krapf on Nov. 22, 1956, in Willard. She survives. He worked for Grassland Dairy for several years and Midland Co-op in Greenwood. He then took a job as custodian for the Greenwood Public Schools and retired from there in 1991 after 19 years. After retirement, he was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of Knights of Columbus 4963, American Legion 238 and St. Mary's Catholic Church.


Survivors include his wife two daughters, Mitzi (Kris) Burrows, Onalaska and Diane Zorman, Marshfield two grandchildren, Tyler Edward and Kaylee Marie Burrows, Onalaska his mother, Jennie Zorman, Memorial Nursing Home, Neillsville and two brothers, Albert Zorman, Willard and Rudy Zorman, Marshfield.


He was preceded in death by his father.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
