FREDERICK TIMMLER


Frederick Timmler, 89, Loyal, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital House of the Dove, Marshfield.


Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1994, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, Clark County. Rev. John Tschudy officated. Burial was in Westside Cemetery, Greenwood.


Music was provided by Susan Stieman, Greenwood and Lori Ermatinger, Marshfield.


Pallbearers were Jeff Timmler, Greenwood Mike Timmler, Loyal Kent Timmler, Wauwatosa Tom Lindner, Loyal Tim Lindner, Muskego and Mike Krabeth, West Allis.


Frederick R. Timmler was born on July 24, 1905, in Neillsville, to Edwin and Clara(nee Dettmann) Timmler. He farmed with his parents for 10 years befored marrying Rose Humke on May 17, 1933, at Immanuel United Church of Christ. They farmed in the Willard and Greenwood area until 1968, when they moved to Loyal. He remained involved in farming by helping out family members and was a janitor at his church for many years. An active member of his church, Mr. Timmler served on the Church board and was a charter member of the Adult Fellowship. In addition, he was a member of the Greenwood Credit Union's Booard of Directors, and was a member of the Farm Bureau and Loyal Senior Citizens.


Survivors include three children: Robert (Sylvia) Timmler, Milwaukee Loraine (Tom) Lindner, Loyal and Irving (Lois) Timmler, Greenwood as well as 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife, who die in September 1989 his parents one brother, Edwin Timmler and two sisters, Agnes Timmler and Henrietta Counsel.


Rinka Funeral Home of Greenwood handled the arrangements.
