IRENE MEINHOLDT


Irene Meinholdt, 81, Loyal, Clark County, died Friday, Dec. 16, 1994, at the home of her daughter in Clearwater, Fla. No funeral services or visitation are scheduled at the final request of Mrs. Meinholdt. Her body is to be cremated, with interment to be made in the West Side Cemetery at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, at a later date.


Mrs. Meinholdt was born on Jan. 2, 1913, in Neenah, Wis., to Albert and Marie (nee Steinhaus) Neuendorf. She married Edward D. (Pat) Meinholdt in Greenwood on June 25, 1938. They farmed in the Town of Eaton until 1976, when they retired and moved to Loyal. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1979.


Survivors include one son, Lee E. (Myrna) Meinholdt, Milwaukee one daughter, Linda S. (Gerald) Freidman, Clearwater, Fla. three grandchildren, Sara, Chad and Kimberly three sisters, Dorothy Walter, Greenwood Leona Moen, Thorp and Lucy Meier, Chippewa Falls.


If desired, Memorials May be made to the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, in her name.
